Certus Semiconductor offers numerous libraries of Digital I/Os to meet the needs of your specific project. Our Multitool specialty circuit is capable of meeting many GPIO/ODIO standards and many of our off-the-shelf libraries contain special features, like protection from extreme voltages and ESD, that can’t be done with  Foundry IP. 1.2/1.5/1.8/2.5/3.3/5V GPIO

Certus offers 1.8V, 3.3V, and switchable 1.8/2.5/3.3/5V General-Purpose IO (GPIO) solutions. Many features are available across various nodes, foundries, and technologies. Some of these features include ultra-low power/low leakage, multiple drive strengths (dedicated cells or selectable), Analog Test Point, One Time Program, extreme levels of ESD protection, and Rad Hard. Standards include eMMc, RGMII, ONFI, LPDDR, etc. Advanced Certus IO libraries also include a 1.8/2.5/3.3V Reduced Gigabit Media Independent Interface (RGMII) compliant IO cell.

Our libraries include an I2C Open Drain IO, up to 3.3V-5V tolerant, supporting Fast Mode (400Kbps) and Fast Mode+ (1Mbps) data rates. Fully compatible with the Certus GPIO library, this cell can be configured across a broad range of open-drain interfaces, resistive and capacitive loads. Our Open Drain cell is compliant with I2C, SMBUS, DDC, CEC and HPD.

High Speed Differential

Select libraries feature LVDS TX and RX cells featuring Output / Input enable, Built-in 100Ω RX termination resistor, fault-safe mode, and more.

Certus also has MIPI compliant SLVS IOs in development, with optional contention detection.
